D&E Painting was founded in 2004 by David Farrer and Eric Schermerhorn with more than 19 years experience in painting and home improvement.

David Farrer, co-founder:

David is a graduate of The University of Massachusetts - Dartmouth with a degree in Marketing.  David began his painting career in high school and has worked his way up through the ranks.  David has also worked as a roofer and framer building homes on Cape Cod for a General Contractor.

Eric Schermerhorn, co-founder:

Eric is a US ARMY veteran and a graduate of Bridgewater State College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Operations.  Eric began his contractor experience in high school working for local contractors and gained experience in painting, remodeling, plumbing, finish carpentry, drywall and more.
